Day 01:

Delhi-Haridwar
(200 Kms)
Pick Up from Airport
or Railway Station. Departure for Haridwar. Evening
free for Sightseeing and Aarti Puja at Haridwar. Overnight
stay at Hotel Classic or similar.

Day 02 :

Haridwar - Rudraprayag
(173 Kms)
After breakfast
leave for Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Monal Resort.
Rudraprayag: Named after Lord Shiva is situated
at the confluence of river Mandakini originating from
Kedarnath Dham and river Alaknanda from Badrinath Dham-
a beautiful sight to behold. The confluence has a great
religious significance and thousands of pilgrims come
here to take a holy dip.

Day 03:

Rudraprayag - Gaurikund-Kedarnath
(74 Kms / 14 Kms on Foot)
Early morning leave for Gaurikund 74 Kms drive and 14
Kms on foot for Kedarnath. Overnight stay at Bikaner
GuestHouse.
Gaurikund: is the last Bus station and the trekking
base to Kedarnath. A temple dedicated to Gauri and thermal
springs of medicinal value are noteworthy. Before proceeding
people bathe in the Hot water pond here and visit the
Gauri devi temple. This is the Place where Goddess Parvati
meditated to attain Lord Shiva.
Kedarnath Temple: The present temple built in
8th century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya
lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built
by Pandavas.
The temple has a Conical lingam- the main idol, a statue
of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'Garba Grah' for worship
and a mandap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors.
The temple is more than 1000 years old.
Behind the Kedarnath Temple lies the Samadhi or final
resting-place of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. It is believed
that after establishing the four dhams in India he went
for his samadhi at an early age of 32 years.

Kedarnath-Gaurikund-Rudraprayag.
After Dharshan
and Pooja leave for Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Monal
Resort.

Rudraprayag - Badrinath

leave for Badrinath. Overnight stay at Narayan Palace.
Badrinath: Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges
of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines-
Badrinath along the left bank of Alaknanda with towering
Neelkantha Peak as the Splendid backdrop. Once the spot
was carpeted with ' badris' or wild berries and hence
was famous as Badri van.
Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descent
to earth to help suffering humanity, the earth was unable
to withstand the force of its descent. Therefore the
mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda
was one of them that later became the abode of Lord
Vishnu or Badrinath.
The temple of Shri Badrinathji on the banks of the Alaknanda
River dates back to vedic times. Situated at an altitude
of 3,133 mts., the present temple is believed to have
been built by Adi Guru Shankaracharya - an 8th
century Philosopher saint, who also established a math
here. Also Known as "Vishal Badri', Badrinath is one
of the Panch Badris. The temple has three parts - Garbha
Griha ( the sanctum sanctorum), Darsham Mandap ( for
Pujas) and Shobha Mandap ( for devotees to assemble.

Dharshan of Badrinath Temple, Sightseeing covering Bhimpul
Vyas Gufa and Charan Paduka. Overnight stay at Narayan
Palace.
Badrinath with its great scenic beauty and attractive
recreational spots in the vicinity attracts an ever-increasing
number of secular visitors each year. Significant places
are Panch Dharas, Panch Shilas, Tapt Kund, Narad Kund,
Brahma Kapal, Sheshnetra Charan paduka and Neelkanth.

Day 07

Badrinath
- Auli - Kausani (197 Kms).
Early morning depart
for Rishikesh (via Auli) to Joshimath. Overnight stay
at Krishan Mountview, Kausani.
Auli: 16 Kms from Joshimath (56 Kms from Badrinath).
Auli flanked by Coniferous and Oak forests offers a panoramic
view of Himalayas Peaks like the Nanda Devi (7817 mts.),
Kamet (7756 mts.), Mana Parvat (7273 mts.) and Dunagiri
(7066 mts) seeming only a short distance away. Auli offers
perfect skiing conditions. Seasonal skiers have clean
stretches of absolutely virgin slopes to sport on. Winter
skiing is now being professionally run at the Auil slopes.
Kausani: The complex knot of the great Hiamalyan
range studded with summits whose names ring with reverence
present a panoramic view from Kausani. The various peaks
are NANDA DEVI, the goddess of bliss (7,817 meteres);
TRISHUL, the trident of Shiva (7120 meters); NANDA GHUNTI,
the veil of Goddess (6309 meters); SWARGAROHINI. The ascent
of heaven (6,252 meters); NEELKANTHA, the Blue throated
Shiva (6596 meters). There are hundreds of peaks above
6000 meters many unnamed and unclimbed. In Kausani tourists
draw pleasure simply form being in the unspoilt places
in the folds of the mountains., the facinating topography
of Uttaranchal holds enough surprises to occupy them.

Kms)
After breakfast
leave for Nainital Covering the sightseeing in Ranikhet.
Arrivel Nainital in the Evening. Overnight stay at Hotel
Krishna, Nainital.
Nainital: Nanital
occupies unique position amongst the numerous lakes
of Kumaon, comprising Pithoragarh, Almora, Nainital.
At and elevation of 1,935.4 metres (6530 Feet), with
an extraordinary variety of scenery set off by imposing
mountains, reflected in its limpid waters, the lake
is 1,372 metres (4,500 feet) long and 457 metres (1500
