SUMMER HOLIDAY
PACKAGES 2003

Head for one of the most legendary national parks in India with a Jim Corbett Omnibus, a pair of sharp-eyed binoculars and a mind open to all kinds of wildlife experiences, from butterflies and birds, to gharial, wild elephants and tigers.

Its proximity to Delhi and prolific wildlife makes Corbett National Park a must-visit destination for residents and guests tempted to go beyond the borders of the capital. And the greatest thrill of visiting this park is being able to stay right within it at dhikala in the heart of the reserve, and other forest rest houses. Adding to the atmospherics, much to the anglers’ delight, is the Ramganga that flows with fattened mahseer and juicy carp hidden within its waters.

For birdwatchers, there are over 580 species to look out for, ranging from tiny barbets to tall sarus cranes. And, last but not finally, is the chance to view reptiles, since prehistoric times, all of which makes Corbett one of the most complete wildlife experiences, close enough to succumb to without much hesitation.
